Tuman: Command

Tuman: Command is a real-time strategy game (with pause) about the war in Ukraine, starting on 24 February 2022.

I’m making it alone, in my free time.

What’s in it:

• the front line moves gradually across a 3×3 km grid instead of jumping between regions
• brigades have manpower, organisation, supply, experience and dig trenches
• you draw fronts and offensive lines, a bit like in Hearts of Iron IV
• supply bases, training grounds, historical events with choices
• smart AI that sees pincers, pulls out of encirclements and closes its own pockets — up to the new Hardcore difficulty
• online multiplayer: 1v1, 2v2 (allies share the army and the front) and co-op vs AI, with chat, friends, profiles and a leaderboard
• local network play: 1v1 and co-op vs AI
• tutorial for new players
• mods: your own divisions, events, rules, start date and victory conditions
• sandbox: place units anywhere, control both sides or watch AI vs AI
• export a timelapse of the war as a video
• original copyright-free soundtrack, or play your own music
